Saliara:
Saliara Beach is located on the eastern coast of Thasos and offers a magical scene where pure white marble pebbles meet the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea. It features a beach bar and lounge chairs, and access is relatively easy; however, many people choose it for a swim, so it's best to visit early.
Golden Beach:
Golden Beach has been awarded a Blue Flag, and rightly so, as its shallow, turquoise waters and golden sand take even the most discerning visitors' breath away. It is quite long, featuring beach bars, sun loungers, and water sports facilities. It is suitable for families with young children.
Paradise:
Paradise Beach is easily accessible, located in the southeastern part of Thassos, and offers views of the small islet of Koinyriotiko. It is surrounded by lush greenery and is a popular spot for families.
Alyki:
In Alyki, you'll find two beaches: the southern section is well-organized with lounge chairs, a beach bar, and taverns, while the northern side is quieter and smaller in size. Whichever spot you prefer, the beautiful turquoise waters will win you over immediately, and the archaeological site just a few meters from the beach is also worth a visit
Arsanas:
Nestled in a small, quiet cove, Arsanas Beach has rightfully earned its place among the most beautiful beaches on Thasos. With fine sand and pebbles, crystal-clear and refreshing waters that gush from underwater springs, it's well worth a visit. Access by car is difficult, and you'll need to walk to reach the beach.
Gkiola:
Perhaps one of the most popular spots on Thasos, Gkiola Beach-also known as the "Tear of Aphrodite"-is a masterpiece of nature in its own right. Essentially, it is a natural pool, and swimmers can enjoy it from the 8-meter-high cliffs. Before visiting, it is recommended that you bring plenty of water and snacks.
Psili Ammos:
Psili Ammos Beach, as its name suggests, consists of fine, golden sand surrounded by pine trees. The waters are crystal clear, and the area features beach bars, lounge chairs, and parking for your vehicle. It is ideal for both children and adults.
Metallia:
Metallia is located in the southern part of Thassos and was named after the old metallurgy plant located just a few meters behind the beach. It features shallow, turquoise waters, and, combined with the lush vegetation, makes it ideal for families with children.
Trypiti:
As one of the island's largest beaches, Trypiti is a picturesque gem of Thassos. It takes its name from a hole that has formed in the shape of a natural cave due to rock erosion (you can find it just a few meters from the beach). With white sand, deep blue waters, and both a developed and a more secluded section, it leaves no visitor disappointed.
